Welcome
The First International Conference on Simulation and Virtual Reality in Medicine, MEDISIM III, will be held on 6-8 July 2023 in Târgu Mureș, Romania. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Romanian Society for Simulation Applied in Medicine, in partnership with the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mureș, and under the patronage of the Romanian Academy of Medical Science.
This scientific event is not only a novelty for Romania but also a necessary step in aligning medical training with the latest methods of medical learning practiced in performance centers worldwide. The participation of experienced specialists from countries with which the university has been collaborating in this field for many years is a guarantee of the event’s professionalism.
The conference will be held at the newly built headquarters of the National Center for Virtual Reality by the university. It will have a profound applied character, not only through lectures but also through practical and applied activities, demonstrations, and the opportunity to work in a new reality that harmoniously combines medicine with modern technology.
We invite you to Targu Mureș to be a part of bringing the future into the present.

Benefits
All registered participants will receive a Certificate of attendance mentioning the number of continuous medical education hours (14 CME credits) that the Romanian Society for Simulation Applied in Medicine was credited by the authorized institutions. Participants will be able to claim CME credits only for their actual attendance to the event.

Workshops are accessible only to conference participants.
There is a limited number of participants for all workshops.
For participation in the CESIMUS Workshop, an additional fee of 50 Euro is charged, which will be paid by the participant only after receiving the workshop registration confirmation. This additional fee is paid in the same bank account as the conference registration. No refunds are possible.
